Job Summary
Otto Heating & Cooling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Residential Sheet Metal Installer (2nd year apprentice to Journeyman) to join our growing installation team in Edmonton. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal ductwork for residential HVAC systems. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our customers’ homes are comfortable, efficient, and safe.

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal duct systems for residential HVAC projects.
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems in new homes and retrofit applications.
- Ensure all installations meet building codes, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
- Collaborate with lead installers, apprentices, and service teams to complete jobs on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean/organized work environment.
- Accurately complete installation reports and communicate with supervisors and office staff.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Sheet Metal apprentice in Alberta, or Journeyman.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience installing residential ductwork and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
