Location: Sea-To-Sky Area (Squamish, Whistler, North Shore)
Position Details: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Compensation Package:
- Gas A Certification: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour OR Gas B Certification: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour.

Position Overview:
Our Service Technician is responsible for undertaking repairs, maintenance and installations of pipes and fixtures in systems related to heating, water distribution and sanitation. We are seeking a plumber with proven experience in residential and/or commercial heating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers plumbing and heating services to clients.
- Utilizes blueprints and assesses building requirements and specifications to develop effective and safe piping, drainage, and plumbing material maps/ layouts.
- Determines the right tools and equipment to successfully complete each job.
- Works with approved suppliers and distributors to source supplies and materials for each job.
- Assists with preparing cost estimates for clients.
- Ensures that the worksite is left clean after completion of each job.
- Answers client queries.
- Adheres to industry practices and company policies in relation to safety.
- Promotes the Northridge Mechanical brand.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Journeyperson in Plumbing or Steamfitting with a minimum Gas B Certification.
- Current Cross-Connection (Backflow) certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Proficient in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers, hot water heating systems, and related components.
- A strong understanding of hydronic heating and the ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently is essential.
- Class 5 driver’s license.
- Proficient at using expected tools of the trade.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
