Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
