Game Master/Server
Goblets & Goblins is a board game cafe & restaurant concept that offers a unique dining experience. We are currently looking for a Game Master/Server to join our team in Newmarket, ON.
Job Description:
The Server is responsible for ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared according to recipes and standards, while adhering to company standards of quality and cleanliness. The Server will also be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant’s appearance and safety are maintained at all times. We expect all of our servers to also know at least some board games to help customers pick out games that suit their current needs whether its for a party, a date or some adventure games.
Responsibilities:
·Perform daily inspections on dated items, restock bar fridge and keep bar and tables clean
·Ensure that all dining room and bar equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good working order.
·Ensure that all drink items are prepared according to recipes and standards.
·Ensure that the restaurant’s safety, appearance, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
·Help customers choose games and explain how to play
·Ensure that the proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
·Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation, health code regulations, sanitation procedures, appearance standards, and work practices at all times.
·Report any safety or sanitation issues to management immediately.
·Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) five years with a stable work history.
· Serving experience
· Smart Serve Certified
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
