Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and server to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food service when necessary, including serving appetizers or coordinating with kitchen staff.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and promote responsible drinking.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is beneficial.
- A background in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus.
