Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service throughout their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and utensils in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed and ensure proper food handling techniques are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Follow all restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and guest services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
