Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system, ensuring timely entry into the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining attention to detail in presentation and accuracy.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills to ensure all guests receive timely service.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items and improve service techniques.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with the food service industry is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
