Server

We are currently looking for an experienced server to join the team at Barley Vine Rail Co. In Orangeville

Restaurant Server duties and responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer services
• Oblige opening and closing duties
• Make suggestions based on guest preferences
• Take and serve food/drinks orders
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Have knowledge on cocktails
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Restaurant Server requirements and qualifications 5 years of experience with cash register and any ordering POS system

• 5 years experience serving
• Fine dining serving an asset
• Cocktail knowledge an asset
• Table service for wine/champagne knowledge
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Active listening
• Good physical condition
• Customer-centric
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
