Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and hospitality, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members when necessary.
