Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team. We are hiring due to a long standing employee being accepted to university. Turn over here is very low, as job satisfaction and work life balance is important to us.
Located in a vibrant setting, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to quality service, sustainability and culinary excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and specials.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Up-sell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential.
- Serving-it-right certificate is essential.
