Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personable service, ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Offer expert guidance on menu options, including dishes, drinks, and pairings, to elevate the guest experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organised, and aligned with Social Corner’s high standards of presentation.
- Manage guest orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area for service or special events.
- Stay informed about menu updates, daily specials, and promotions to provide accurate recommendations.
- Represent Social Corner’s values through professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Create a welcoming environment that reflects the energy and warmth of Social Corner.
Experience
- At least 2 years of serving experience in hospitality.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and pairings.
- Valid Serving It Right certification.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A commitment to teamwork and collaboration to ensure seamless service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85 per hour
