Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service while ensuring that our customers feel welcomed and valued. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or needs promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation and handling practices is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while ensuring quality service.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
