Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a pleasant experience. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
