Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You'll be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from greeting to payment. This role requires strong communication, multitasking abilities and the ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure. Duties
- Provide detailed information on menu items, specials and promotions
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing assistance as necessary.
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction before they leave.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Work well under pressure and as a team player
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high volume restaurant is preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.
