Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server and a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and manage the cash register.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when applicable.
- Assist in training new bartenders or bar staff as needed.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures within the food industry is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
