Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including kitchen support during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while following food safety guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Basic cashiering skills are beneficial for handling payments accurately.
- A willingness to learn about menu items and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
