We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

Duties

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system for order processing.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food handling safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or as a Server is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to the kitchen and food service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 24 per week
