Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service, accurate order taking, and timely delivery of food and beverages.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and guest satisfaction.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest services at all times.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
