Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced food industry environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience for guests.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining cash handling protocols.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on guest services.
- Strong upselling skills to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Proficient in cash handling practices with basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- A commitment to hospitality with a friendly demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus.
