The Good Son at 11 Karl Fraser Road is looking for a strong Host/Server Assistant to assist our FOH team in their day to day responsibilities. The ideal candidate would have a strong working knowledge of hospitality basics, with a desire to excel. The ideal candidate is someone that is a team player who wants to be part of an environment where they are able to learn the hospitality basics and provide excellent dining experiences. We are looking for a FULL TIME candidate who is able to work shifts from Tuesday to Sunday every week.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Server Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service in a fast-paced food service environment.
Duties
- Warmly greet guests at the door as well as on the telephone
- Be able to romance our menu and dining room layout to guests
- Willing to learn how to use OpenTable software
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Open doors for guests arriving and leaving the restaurant
- Polish flatware/glassware, bus tables
- Perform ancillary Host & Server Assistant duties
- Present a polished appearance in line with The Good Sons guidelines
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take direction and prioritize
- Excellent oral communication skills and product knowledge
- Ensuring that all orders are completed in time and with the correct priority
- Maintaining communication between BOH + FOH
