Founded in 2005, 2K Games is a global video game company, publishing titles developed by some of the most influential game development studios in the world. Located in Vancouver, BC, 2K Sports Lab is a small collective being formed within 2K Games that is driving the research and development of future sports interactive entertainment programs. Within this group, speculative work will be done on future sports games with an eye towards taking the magic of 2K’s publishing and development expertise and applying them to future opportunities.

What We Need
Do you see UI as more than menus and icons—as a core part of a game’s identity and experience?
Seeking for a Senior UI Artist who combines craft, clarity, and collaboration. In this role, you’ll help craft the visual language of our interface from wireframes to polished in-game assets - while collaborating with other artists, designers, and engineers.
This is a hands-on role passionate about building sophisticated, intuitive UI that improves gameplay without getting in the way.
What You’ll Do

Help defines the game’s UI style in partnership with the Art Director and Design team.

Translate wireframes and systems into refined, visually cohesive interfaces.

Build final assets, motion graphics, iconography, and mockups that balance form and function.

Collaborate with designers to support gameplay flows and reinforce player understanding.

Implement assets in Unreal Engine (UMG), working closely with engineers on integration and performance.

Work with Technical Artists to tackle in-engine visual or implementation issues.

Stay informed on trends in games, apps, and visual design to encourage fresh solutions.

Provide feedback, chip in to reviews, and help maintain visual consistency across the UI.
What We’re Looking For

Experience shipping at least one AAA game or equivalent project.

Strong portfolio showing a range of UI work—especially where usability and style align.

Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (or equivalent) for UI asset creation and motion design.

Comfortable working across teams - Design, Art, Engineering -to bring ideas to life.

Strong communicator who gives and receives feedback with clarity and respect.

Familiarity with Figma or other prototyping tools is a plus.

Deep curiosity about games and a thoughtful approach to how UI supports the player experience.

The pay range for this position in British Columbia at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,700 and $112,060 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
