Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Artistic Swimming - Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives that will help ensure the success of the Artistic student-athletes. Expected to assist head coach with other related functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Artistic Swimming - Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives that will help ensure the success of the Artistic student-athletes. Expected to assist head coach with other related functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment.
- Prepare practice and training equipment ahead of start times
- Record activities and keep track of statistics during competitions and performances.
- Recruitment of prospective student-athlete Artistic players
- Adhere to the administrative rules, regulations and policies of the university and the league (CUASL) regulations
- Activate fundraising initiatives that will support the Artistic Swimming operational needs.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, evaluation and planning skills
- Strong desire and dedication to the development of the student athletes
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Working hours will depend on the time and resources needed during different parts of the season
- May require CPR and First Aid certifications
