RO Tech Solutions is growing and we are currently seeking the right Security Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for security systems and are hard working, we'd like to hear from you.
Duties:
- Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
- Install equipment, program and calibrate equipment
- Run wires through ceilings & drywall
- Troubleshoot systems, resolve issues for customers and end users
- Provide excellent customer service
- Verify systems are functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals, and identifying and correcting problems.
Requirements:
- minimum 2 year alarm technician experience required
- minimum 2 year CCTV/ access control
- Proficient in working with power tools and possess mechanical knowledge
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring
- Strong understanding of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems
- Strong knowledge of computer skills
- Must be able to work alone or with a team
- Strong problem solving skills
- Fluent in English with excellent listening skills, verbal and written communication skills including complete and accurate paperwork
- Proven time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, work effectively on multiple tasks, and contribute to improvements in a collaborative work environment
- Able to work on a ladder
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Highschool diploma
- Security license required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
