Job Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Security Installation Technician to join our Winnipeg team. In this hands-on role, you’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot cutting-edge security systems for both residential and commercial clients. Your work directly impacts our customers' safety and peace of mind, so attention to detail and quality workmanship are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Install, configure, and test advanced security systems, including alarms, cameras, access control, and other smart security equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure systems operate flawlessly
- Provide outstanding customer service by professionally addressing client questions and concerns
- Educate clients on system operation and upkeep to maximize their security investment
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments for smooth project completion
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of all installations, service calls, and maintenance activities
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or degrees in electronics, electrical engineering, or related fields are a strong asset
- Proven hands-on experience installing and servicing security systems
- Strong technical knowledge of security hardware, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Superior communication and customer service abilities
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
