Part-Time Janitor for UNISUS School

UNISUS School is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Janitor to support the daily cleaning and upkeep of our campus, including classrooms, offices, student dormitories, and shared spaces. This role helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Maintain restrooms, classrooms, gym, cafeteria, residence, and public areas.
- Rotate deep cleaning tasks (e.g., gym, staff areas) biweekly.
- Handle laundry of school linens as needed.
- Support basic janitorial maintenance and report larger issues.
- Follow health, safety, and cleaning protocols.
- Assist with locking doors and general campus security as directed.
- Communicate supply needs to supervisor for timely restocking.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the School Janitor or Student Life Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles is an asset.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safe use of cleaning products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and professionalism when interacting with others.
- Must pass a Criminal Record Check.
