Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
