Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scale Operator / Yard Attendant to join our team. The Scale Operator will be responsible for weighing and recording materials brought in for processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. The Yard Attendant will be responsible for managing customers on site.
Responsibilities
- Operate scales and weigh materials accurately
- Record weights of incoming and outgoing materials
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when interacting with customers
- Keep yard maintained to standards of cleanliness
-Sort and tidy recycling area
-communicate effectivally with other staff and Customers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data
- Prior experience in customer service is beneficial
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $18.65 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
