We are looking to add a labourer to our team, as a Woodworking Sander.
Candidate will have own reliable transportation (we are on a bus route), able to do repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, have great attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, be able to stand for periods of time, be able to work under tight deadlines, have manual dexterity, accept and implement guidance & techniques, and take initiative.
We are a small team, work environment can be dusty, noisy, and at time have odors.
Candidate must be a team player, have excellent verbal and written communication, be punctual, reliable, and able to work days, with occasional evenings and weekends.
Must be able to read and interpret specifications, monitor for high quality, and clean work area.
Experience with using hand tools, and hand sanders an asset.
Previous finish wood working experience an asset.
Also an asset are: Standard First Aid, Personal protective equipment (PPE) training, WHMIS.
Candidate must have own steel-toe boots
