We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven individual with experience in sales, marketing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of chemistry, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. This role requires someone who takes initiative, follows through on responsibilities, and contributes effectively in a collaborative team environment. Key responsibilities include developing new customer relationships, maintaining existing ones, and working cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met.
Job Duties:
- Represent the company and its values in a positive and professional manner while working toward departmental goals.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients by communicating in a personalized, respectful, and courteous manner. Gather all relevant client information and record it accurately in internal systems, including the CRM system in use.
- Identify client requirements and prepare accurate quotations. Promote TLC products and suggest suitable alternatives when appropriate.
- Coordinate sales efforts with internal departments (Technical, Shipping, Accounting, R&D, etc.) to address all aspects of customer needs ensuring a timely, efficient, and high-quality level of service that upholds the company’s reputation for excellence.
- Maintain up-to-date sales and order information in online management and CRM systems.
- Collaborate and strategize with sales colleagues to meet or exceed company quotas and performance goals by sharing insights and coordinating efforts.
- Conduct regular market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities, and provide timely reports to management on new leads, customer needs, and competitive insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and presentations with potential prospects.
- Create, plan, and deliver sales materials and promotional content to support business development efforts.
- Participate in industry conferences and events as required (some travel may be required).
- Manage and follow up on customer inquiries and complaints promptly until resolution.
- Provide support and coverage for sales team colleagues as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships independently and proactively.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage customer data and sales activities.
- Experience with Photoshop and other marketing tools to create tailored presentations and promotional materials.
- Able to successfully pass a background check.
