Job Title: Sales Estimator

Role Description:
We are seeking a full-time Sales Estimator with proven experience in tender submissions and quotation preparation according to Canadian construction and millwork standards. This role requires deep knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other relevant design and estimation software. The successful candidate will assess project drawings and specifications, prepare detailed cost proposals, and participate in business development activities to secure new contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze architectural and construction drawings, specs, and project scopes
Prepare detailed project estimates and competitive quotations for tenders
Submit tender documents in accordance with Canadian industry standards
Create and present customized proposals and costing breakdowns
Use Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and other industry design tools for quantity take-offs and visualization
Maintain accurate pricing, supplier, and materials databases
Liaise with architects, contractors, and internal departments to clarify requirements
Support the sales team by responding to RFQs and managing project leads
Ensure timely and complete submission of quotations and tenders
Track project bids and follow up to drive closures
Work collaboratively with the design and operations team to meet deadlines and client expectations
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales estimation, tender submissions, and proposal writing (preferably in the woodworking, millwork, or construction sector)
Proficient in Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and estimation/design tools like SketchUp, Revit, or Cabinet Vision
Demonstrated experience in tendering processes and quoting commercial and residential projects
Strong understanding of construction documentation and project workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service and business development mindset
Analytical thinking with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field

Pay: $18.64-$40.60 per hour
