About Our Opportunity:
Working within the mission, vision, values and person-centered philosophy of the Agency, the Sales and Marketing Lead reports to the Program Director, Social Impact and works closely with the Marketing & Communications, FSEAP, and Financial Empowerment teams.
This full-time temporary position plays a critical role in the development and execution of the expansion of two social enterprise programs, with the express goal of generating new revenue for the agency. The two programs have already been identified, and business plans have been developed:
- Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP)
- Financial Empowerment (FE)

Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) provides clinical counselling services to employees of client organizations who may be experiencing problems in their personal, family, or work lives. In addition, the program provides several organizational services to its corporate clients, including workplace consulting, training, and critical incident stress management responses. As a social enterprise of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), FSEAP is a fee-generating business, with all of its profits going to support the larger work of FSGV and the Greater Vancouver community.
At Family Services of Greater Vancouver, we have been helping people in crisis since 1928. We are a non-profit working to support and empower individuals, families, and communities. We offer programs and services designed to help people develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to create positive change in their lives. Our staff operates from an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens to meet people where they are and get them where they want to be.

Work Hours: 35 per week, Monday- Friday
Salary Range: Pay grade GS14 $73,892 (step 1) to $81,918.20 (Step 4)
Location: Position will be Hybrid with some in office time at our head office at East Broadway and Commercial and some remote time, breakdown to be negotiated
Term: This is currently scheduled for a 1-year term. There is a possibility of extending the role, if the incumbent is successful in reaching the set sales targets.

What do you need to succeed?
Education, Training, Experience
- Degree or diploma in business, marketing, or sales preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales and marketing
- Experience in social enterprise is an asset
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated sales and marketing skills
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, and email marketing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Passion for social enterprises and a strong commitment to social impact
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing ROI
- Familiarity with CRM tools and analytics platforms is a plus
