Job description
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Room Attendant
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Clean all rooms per IHG Way of Clean 5 S Program
- Clean all assigned guestrooms including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
- Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Return and properly tag all lost and found articles to the Housekeeping Office
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Report necessary maintenance issues
- Clean and organize linen rooms and carts at the end of each day
- Vacuum the hallway
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs
- Attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent
Salary: $22.50 to $25.70 per hour
