DMS Metals Ltd. - a full service metals recycler located in the GTA - is looking for an experienced, AZ/DZ Licensed Roll-Off/Tilt and Load driver for our CREEMORE LOCATION. This job will require the employee to rotate between roll-off, scow and tow work as required by management.
Required:
- Current & valid DZ drivers’ license
- Minimum 10 years (roll-off) working experience
- Clean drivers’ abstract
- Ability to perform and document daily inspection of vehicle
- Ability to follow all paperwork procedures related to the pick-up/delivery of material
- Ability to safely secure loads and occasionally lift 25-50 LBS
- Must possess a strong work ethic
Job Description:
- Pick-up and delivery of roll-off containers at various industrial accounts.
- Delivery of a scow trailer back and forth to main DMS location, as required.
- Safely transporting heavy loads of various types of metals.
- Safely transporting up to three vehicles using a tilt and load tow truck.
- Safely and efficiently completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Identifying and reporting mechanical issues and various problems that occur on the trucks to management.
Preferred:
- Experience in the metals recycling industry is an asset
- AZ/DZ license is required
- Experience driving a tilt and load is an asset
Salary:
$25-$30/hr depending on experience and qualifications.
