Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company, based out of Red Deer looking for a experienced local rock truck/tractor operators for a site grading project west of Innisfail, AB at Dickson Dam. Start date is June 9, approx 2-3 weeks of work but could be longer.
Candidates should be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.
Work Details
- 7 days a week, 7am to 6pm - 11 hr shifts,
- Long weekends off (4 days),
- Provide own transportation to and from work site,
- Must have valid WHMIS ticket.
Rock Truck Scope of Work
- Minimum of 3 months experience,
- Operate machine safely,
- Dump loads where directed,
- Maintain consistent distance when pulling up to excavator,
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.
PPE Requirements
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Gloves.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
