Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our team part-time. The successful candidate will have a solid background in a medical, clinic or hospital reception and administration. This role involves overseeing daily administrative operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle patient inquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing patient records, and processing documentation and insurance claims.
- Ensure efficient front desk operations and maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Handle billing, insurance verification, and patient financial transactions as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and other staff to support seamless clinic operations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of office and medical supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a medical clinic or hospital reception and administration role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in office software (e.g., MS Office Suite) and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Professional demeanour and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
