Looking for a new challenge? The Oz Store, a well-known cannabis retail chain in Eastern Ontario, has an opening for a full or part time Retail Associate to join our store in Bells Corners (Nepean). We welcome an application from anyone seeking a long term career with opportunities for growth, including promotion to Key Holder and Key Lead (and perhaps even store manager).
Besides working full or part time time in Bells Corners, please specify in your application whether you would be interested in helping out occasionally at our Centretown store, at 294 Somerset St. W.
This is a starting position and remuneration begins at $17.65 per hour, with regular yearly increases.
The ideal candidate should:
-enjoy dealing with the public in a fast-paced environment
-have a licence and clean driving record (for occasional deliveries using the official store vehicle)
-have a high school diploma
-be able to function within a team setting
-be knowledgeable and passionate about legal Cannabis products
-have a keen attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
Responsibilities Include:
-Carrying out cashier duties (taking orders and cashing out customers at the till)
-Answering phones and appropriately helping customers with their inquiries
-Gathering, processing, and packaging online orders
-Assisting the Keyholders/Manager in receiving and organizing merchandise
-Maintaining the physical appearance of the store
-Assisting the Keyholders/Manager in the opening and closing of the store.
-Driving for delivery purposes (if applicable)
It’s a bonus if you:
-are bilingual (English with French)
