You will work directly with either a major loss Project Manager or a team of Project Managers focused on large industrial, commercial, healthcare, and VIP projects. Your primary goal is to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of all projects.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll be on the move, supervising operations personnel and working in the field. With your extensive construction and restoration experience, strong organizational skills, and passion for completing projects on time and under budget, you will be a key contributor to the success of On Side
Project Supervisors are responsible for:
- Leadership and Coaching Field Staff
- Health & Safety on jobs sites
- Leading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes
- Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Documentation of site visits and job progress
- Site Safety Inspections
What you bring:
- Large Loss experience
- Healthcare Construction experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Work ethic and the ability to bring this out in others
- Construction related experience
- Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record
Other stuff that’ll help you be successful:
- Skilled trade(s) or IICRC certificates
- Infection Control experience and certificates are considered and asset
- Asbestos Abatement and Mold Remediation experience and certificates are considered and asset
- Knowledge of advanced drying concepts and drying equipment usage
- Standard First Aid certification
- Physically fit
Of Note
The restoration industry requires flexibility to respond to emergencies. While this role is not a scheduled on-call position, be aware that unforeseen disasters may necessitate after-hours work.
