Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued while efficiently managing their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage multiple tables effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all food handling practices meet industry standards.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations in the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
