We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests while managing staff, finances, and operational efficiency. This person lives in Calgary.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including daily reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to minimize waste.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
- Proficient in cash handling practices and financial management.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in restaurant management is preferred, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- You would have opened a restaurant before in a supervisor or manager position
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Pay: $43,782.53-$65,848.88 per year
