The Role
We’re searching for a Residential Project Manager to oversee renovations and new construction projects from start to finish. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, who can juggle client expectations with construction realities — and deliver results every time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage multiple residential projects (renovations, additions, and new builds).
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and transparent communication.
- Ensure projects are built to Knox’s quality standards and delivered on time/on budget.
- Oversee safety, permits, inspections, and compliance with building codes.
- Resolve issues proactively while keeping projects moving forward smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years managing residential construction projects (renovations & new builds).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of residential building codes, construction methods, and sequencing.
- Skills: Budget management, scheduling, and contract administration. Proficiency in project management software.
- Mindset: Organized, accountable, and solutions-driven, with a passion for great design and craftsmanship.
- People Skills: Able to build trust with homeowners, lead crews, and manage trades effectively.
