ARI Properties is a property management business in Halifax, NS servicing several hundred units throughout HRM.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for leasing residential units.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tours of residential units and provide information to potential tenants.
- Respond to rental inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Screen prospective tenants (credit checks, background checks, rental history, etc.).
- Ensure a smooth move-in and move-out process.
- Maintain positive tenant relationships and address concerns or questions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential leasing or property management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Access to a vehicle to drive to properties for tours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Note that this position is freelance commission based.
