Leasing Coordinator– Residential Property Management
Location: Downtown Edmonton, Alberta
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (On-Site)
Compensation: $21/hr + $100 per lease commission + discretionary bonus at 97% occupancy

Our client is seeking a Leasing Coordinatorto join their property management team and independently manage a portfolio of 100–200 residential units across 5 buildings in Edmonton. What You’ll Do:
Marketing & Leasing Execution
- Showcase rental units through in-person and virtual tours
- Post listings on rental platforms, manage ads on social media, and drive local awareness
- Pre-lease up to 400 units annually for new developments
- Accurately prepare and manage lease agreements, ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant laws
Tenant Management
- Screen applicants (credit, background, income)
- Coordinate all lease lifecycle activity including move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and terminations
- Respond to prospective tenant inquiries and current resident issues
- Assign parking and storage, enhancing the tenant experience
Customer Relations & Retention
- Provide exceptional customer service with a proactive, friendly approach
- Foster tenant relationships to encourage renewals and referrals
- Serve as the first point of contact for resolving resident disputes
Operational Oversight
- Coordinate and follow up on maintenance and emergency service requests
- Support legal compliance including evictions when necessary
- Maintain property records via Google Drive and Yardi systems
Market Intelligence & Team Collaboration
- Track rental market trends to inform pricing and promotional strategies
- Recommend operational improvements to enhance tenant satisfaction and internal efficiency
- Provide feedback to influence the design and marketing of future developments
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in leasing, residential property management, or sales/hospitality
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Self-starter who’s organized, tech-savvy, and proactive
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Proficient in Google Suite and Yardi (or similar leasing software)
