Provides a variety of support to an applicable research project.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides a variety of research support such as:
- Collecting and summarizing literature such as articles and journals.
- Assisting with surveys/questionnaires.
- Observing and collating material.
- May involve statistical analysis.
- May involve computer modeling.
- May involve direct contact with research subjects.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Grade 12, plus completion of four years in a related post-secondary program
EXPERIENCE:
- Six months’ related experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES RELATED TO THE JOB
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to plan and organize work
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working in forest field conditions and in laboratory and office
