Your Responsibilities
- Perform the repair and troubleshooting of light fixtures and control boxes/test benches, both mechanical and electrical;
- Perform the repair and troubleshooting of cables and tools used for testing;
- Operate the in-house operating system (VP): following all procedural steps;
- Enter data into tracking files;
- Manage repair and troubleshooting with Production staff (Coordinator, Supervisors, etc.);
- Work in collaboration with other departments (Industrial Engineering, Design, Methods, etc.) to ensure production efficiency;
- Assist the trainer during technical integration training when new employees are hired or during continuing training clinics;
- Assist the trainer during ‘awareness" training: ESD, tooling, and feedback to assemblers;
- Comply with the company's health and safety rules at all times;
- Any other related tasks.
Education + Experience Required
- One year of experience in a manufacturer environment (an asset)
- Experience in electronics (an asset).
Qualifications + Skills Required
- Have good manual dexterity and be comfortable with tools such as screwdrivers and pliers, etc.;
- Demonstrate leadership and initiative skills;
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions;
- Have good communicational skills;
- Be comfortable with teamwork;
- Have an analytic and organized mind;
- Communicate in French and English, spoken and written;
- Knowledge of the MS Office series (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
- Knowledge of instrumentation (multimeter, oscilloscope, hi-pot).
