Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll is actively seeking applicants for a OTA/PTA position.
Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Diploma required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital
- Must possess current BLS certificate.
- One year recent PT/OT Assistant experience required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently.
- Demonstrated ability to function productively as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the usage of various programs such as Cerner, Powerchart and Microsoft Office.
- Skilled with the interaction of patients and families to provide patient focused, goal oriented care.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality.
- Excellent attendance record and work ethics in previous positions.
Other pertinent conditions:
- Must be available to work all shifts as required including days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays. Hours of work are subject to change.
- Salary per the UNIFOR collective agreement ($31.18 per hour to $32.29 per hour)
