We are seeking for an Immigration Consultant (RCIC preferred).
Position Purpose
- We are looking for a Experienced Immigration case worker, or an Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with experience.
- You are expected to manage immigration cases, communicate with clients, develop case information, draft submissions, prepare supporting documents & exhibits, and track case updates.
- You must be able to do sales and convert the prospective leads.
Responsibilities
- Doing sales and converting leads by providing adequate solutions.
- Follow up with leads and bring them to sign up stage.
- Managing visa and immigration cases related to visitors, students, workers, immigrants, and refugees
- Keeping cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, documenting actions, inputting information into file database and case management software, and confirming case status with provincial and federal governments
- Helping develop cases by maintaining contact with clients, scheduling consultations, preparing immigration applications, drafting submission letters, preparing responses to RFI's, and generating status reports
- Keeping clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress through email, phone, and in person
- Maintaining case costs by verifying outstanding balances and collaborating with team members internally to send invoices to clients
- Supporting case preparation by putting together case summaries and materials for consultations, preparing for hearings, monitoring and obtaining government responses, and organizing materials for team case review
- Preparing and file ATIP requests on behalf of clients and explaining findings & recommendations to clients
- Researching new immigration and citizenship laws, regulations, and processing system changes. Preparing research reports, comparison charts, and instruction guides for internal use and external client presentations
- Enhancing hearing proceedings by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits. scheduling witnesses, ensuring that witnesses are ready when needed, and taking courtroom notes
- Updating immigration knowledge by keeping up with changes to immigration regulations, participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
