Overview
Seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have service experience (maintaining, repairing and installing) in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Troubleshooting experience is a must. The technician will work on various projects, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heat pumps, boilers, and air conditioning units.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently.
- Perform installations and service work on gas and refrigeration systems in compliance with safety codes and standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients, explaining work performed and providing outstanding customer service.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including service records, repair logs and parts used.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with local codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects promptly while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Driver's license (required)
- Air Conditioning & Refrigeration 313A or 313D license and ODP certification (required)
- G2/G3 Gas license (asset but not mandatory)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in braising techniques related to refrigeration work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
Wages are negotiable depending on licenses and experiences level.
