Toronto Counselling Centre for Teens is a private therapy practice, specializing in teens and families with teens. We have served the west end of Toronto since 2012 and in 2025 opened a location that serves the Danforth and surrounding areas.
We are seeking a part-time receptionist to join our team and support both our lovely, cozy locations at Runnymede/Bloor and Chester/Danforth, conveniently located on the Bloor/Danforth subway line. This position oversees the day-to-day activities of our practice, working Friday, Saturday and Monday - 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm on weekends with the role eventually including Sundays and growing to a full-time position. Extra casual shifts (including weekends) could also be available to cover time off for our other receptionists.
As the first point of contact for our clients, we are looking for an individual who has a warm and welcoming personality (on the phone, in writing and in person). Exceptional customer service skills, the ability to multitask and stay organized, and the willingness and ability to learn our office practices.
This can be a busy reception desk with a lot of ongoing interruptions and demands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and maintains confidentiality of clients
- Answering phone / email inquiries
- Working with practitioners and clients to schedule appointments
- Assist practitioners and clinic director with administrative support
- Assist clients with an intake process
- Cleanliness of the clinic and tidiness of the centre, light housekeeping
- Overseeing day to day clinic operations including room bookings
- Taking payments from clients and coordination of direct billing submissions with insurance companies
- Other duties as assigned by owner
Skills and Assets:
- A minimum of 1-year recent experience as a receptionist in an office setting is an asset
- Welcoming, approachable and positive attitude
- Demonstrated organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen to client concerns and provide an appropriate and kind response
- Excellent computer skills to manage Jane App and direct billing
- Strong commitment to continual learning
- Proficiency in English language
