The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Performs routine process quality checks
- Performs quality inspections on parts and finished good assemblies
- Facilitates processing field quality issues, customer returns and supplier quality issues
- Administers the issuance of non-conforming reports and works with the affected department on the formulation of corrective action plans
- Conduct training and certification of production associates
- Create and updates procedures and work instructions as required
- Assists in the maintenance and improvement of the quality management systems required by ISO 9001 standards
- Conducts internal audits based on ISO 9001 standards
- Works with manufacturing on process improvement initiatives
- 2+ years’ experience in quality related position in manufacturing environment
- College Diploma, or Technology program or equivalent
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and internal audits
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work both independently and in team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
