team. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the successful candidate will be at the heart of our Quality Control and Continuous improvement initiatives. They will work in
collaboration with our teams in L'Ange-Gardien, Beauce, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and in the USA.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor product quality by doing inspection rounds;
- Ensure that all employees are complying with manufacturing standards;
- Supporting production in problem solving ;
- Investigate internal and external complaints;
- Monitor and actively participate in product improvement and new product creation projects;
- Participate in non-conformity management processes;
- Monitor, maintain, improve and promote the quality system in line with standard production practices;
- Ensure the quality of incoming inputs in collaboration with the receiving team and the purchasing manager;
- Help solve day-to-day problems and investigate non-conformities;
- Perform physico-chemical tests on products (pH, viscosity, etc.).
- Create documents, update documents, compile data, perform verifications/validations;
- Access and respond to web-based platforms for documentary quality assurance requests for all facilities (e.g. Supplyline, TraceGains, etc.).
- Participate in R&D/ESDR and product innovation
Skills and abilities required:
- Relevant college training in industrial engineering, quality control or process technology;
- Must be adept and comfortable at working in a high-pressure environment.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing (ideally in printing);
- Good command of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, One Drive, TEAMS
- Excellent command of written and spoken French;
- Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English;
- Demonstrate good judgment and thoroughness; have an eye for detail
- Excellent autonomy and sense of initiative;
- Enjoys learning new computer software
- Have a pedagogical and diplomatic approach and intervention style
